The design is based on the solutions used in Sweden and is often called 2+1 system.
The main structure is made of wood (horizontal and vertical components are bolted, not glued) and is fitted with 24 mm insulating glass unit. Aluminium structure with a single 4 mm pane is installed from the outside.
Additional pane in external aluminium section and additional air void provide improved acoustic parameters (Rw = 37 dB) compared to standard system e.g. Softline 68 mm with 4/16Ar/4 panes.
Windows may also be fitted with roller shutters installed in the space between the insulating glass unit and the single pane. Frame – glued laminated timber 92 x 55 mm, sash – glued laminated pine timber 56 x 65 mm, coated with GORI water based acrylic paint – opaque, FIX hardware – available functions: turn, tilt, tilt and turn, Aluron aluminium trims from the outside, glazing: 24 mm glazing unit (insulating glass unit 4/16Ar/4) and 4 mm single pane installed in aluminium structure, glazing with gaskets.
